So. I recently got Heroes of Might & Magic VI, and decided to use my newfound knowledge of how to abuse CE6.1 to hack games et.c.

I'm still a newbie who knows shitall, but..

I've successfully found pointers and written scripts on my own for Dead Island, Rage, Dungeon Siege 3 and The Witcher 2. I am, however, having a difficult time hacking Heroes of Might & Magic VI. For example, when attempting to find the gold adress (Easy enough) I find a static adress instantly and no pointers at all, which I find odd. This static adress cannot be changed, maybe through scripts but I haven't delved that deep yet, since I still know jack-diddly-squat about it.. Razz I've searched Bytes to Double several time and the only adress I can find are three static ones, 1 byte, 4 byte and 8 byte. The 1 byte is showing a value of 20 while the 4 and 8 bytes are showing 32020. Also I tried hacking movement points, successfully found the pointer. A float value between 0 and 1. It, however, points to a 4 byte value between 0 and 1065353216.
I also tried hacking in-battle values, such as the Sentinel Pack number, and the Mauler Pack number. Found the pointers easy enough but the value changing is merely cosmetic. Does nothing. I did, however, manage to make my Maulers incinvible during the Thoghrul fight. But then I lost them and tried with Sentinels, which failed even though done the exact same way. Anyone capable of shedding some light on this, or point me to a tutorial of some sort that might help me figuring this out. I love hacking games with CE, it's alot of fun! Shame I'm such a dimwhit.

It says something along the lines of this in the memory viewer:
GSystem::Init+8B7C3F - E8 7A070000 - call GSystem::Init+8B83BE

call GSystem::Init+xxxxxx is the common mediator for all static adresses in the

Any help is greatly appreciated, regards /Rob

Look at this topic for a bit info:

What you have found for the money is just the displayed value. Worthless to change it. You will not have any effect with that.
