No error or anything. In task manager I see cheatengine.exe for a second then it goes. Nothing displays. AVG Doesn't actually warn me and I've tried it without avg on. Tutorial's process is there, but lags up my pc and I can't actually see the tutorial it's just its process. What? Any fixes please?

Make sure you have no online games running, and make sure you do not run those online games at the same time as ce.
Also, disable your anti virus and reboot. Just disabling never works

Nothing's running, neither in the background. I scanned a freshly installed CE with AVG and it doesn't actually detect anything. I'm not sure why it doesn't work.
Edit: Just disabled resident shield and added it to exceptions; nothing.
Also, why does everybody hate me on CE?

enable uac and reboot. Perhaps you've set it so it automatically blocks all programs that require admin

Thanks. It's now working. Any fix to get around this? I hate UAC, always in the way.

turn uac completely off. So not just one tick down but all the way (win7) and reboot
Perhaps just changing it once will fix the bug in your os
And again, make sure you do not have an av protecting you from yourself when uac is off
