For online (balance) Probably Starcraft but because I am a giant nerd and used to collect the table top I really enjoyed warhammer.

Agreed, the only reason i played tiberia twilight was since i were a part of the beta, and then i had a game to play with my brother on a lan party (Took us 5 hours to get to max lv :3 )

R.U.S.E. and Warcraft III.
Deceiving is a good part of war Smile also, warcraft III just has so many mods/maps that it is easy to completely change gameplay.

edit: Total Annihilation was also one of my favorites due to the millions of mods and in general it was quite a good game.

SAVAGE 2 in my opinion is the best of RPG and RTS .
