I've found the address that the game uses for class type on character generation, and editing it works fine (if I set it to '11' and click OK, I get a level 1 Shadowdancer, which is ordinarily inaccessible). However, I'm having issues locating the pointer used. I've been through several tutorials with no luck (none of the pointer results match the address). I'm quite new to memory editing so my hope is that someone can offer a bit of direction and I can work from there (and record my results in a similar fashion to this).
Totally didn't realise there's a "Game Hacking" forum. Whoops.
Edit: Added a more descriptive video, indicating my steps.

Found two very similar addresses with a near-identical purpose. Is there a specific way of choosing which to use, or do you just pick either? They both write to addresses in the same area and editing either seems to work for the same job.
If possible could this thread be moved to the game hacking discussion topic?

Found a first pointer but it's not static, so still no luck. Any suggestions on how to find a static pointer if there aren't any in the list?
Edit: Looks like I found it, now to find some information on trainers.
