Ok, I am trying to make a cheat table for a game, it has xlive so I used the xlive script, and when i find the health value and try to attach the debugger game crashing. So is there something that can fix this?

If you use 32-bit OS (preferably XP), use kernelmode debugger+global debug registers.

If you use 64-bit, you can aquire some patched Xlive from somewhere (no clue where can you find it) which has a disabled anti-debugger protection or you can try to use my utterly barbaric method that is shown here:

You should use this as a last resort only. This method is like hunting for flies with nukes. You need to do this only until you use the debugger to make your cheats. I still didn't bother with Xlive anti-debugger stuff because I use XP so I use kernelmode debugger all the time.

It may happen that the game itself (not just Xlive) also has additional anti-debugger protection. Some of them has.
