I like the 3.5 layout better, the new ones too confusing (Not really, just not used to it). I like the new style for vista and 7, but not on XP. They litterally left out XP.

Hmm, really? I guess they're already starting to count XP out, like 94 or 2000.
EDIT: I meant 97. . .I think. . .the churros are clouding my brain!
Double Edit: Damn your "Don't Click this" link in your signature!

Been using the nightly builds since last year, I actually like the refined menu and tab bars since it takes up less space now. The new Aero effect was also pretty neat, but a more user-friendly option to turn it off would be nice.
Memory leaks are still too frequent to my liking, makes FF sluggish if I leave it running for too long (2 days or more). It improved alot from FF2 and FF3 though.

Why would I not? My machines stay on 24/7 for most part of the year, better to leave everything as it were when I'm away and quickly resume my work when I return. I don't mind the 10s of load up time, but when you have numerous tabs open for research it becomes a pain to rummage through the history AND for the websites to load.

It's ok, but the default design looks a lot like internet explorers layout(with the way buttons are located). And I hate internet explorers layout
The statusbar at the bottom missing wasn't such a problem as long as the popup was showing at the same spot, but because it appeared at a different location each time I mouse over a url I just installed the status-4-evar extension to get the statusbar back to a fixed position
and the colors just don't really blend in well and the animations on the tabs make opening and closing tabs a bit slower. (in firefox 3.x I could close 150 tabs quickly, but in 4.x the animation actually slows it down)
But besides these points it's basically the same as 3.x , same speed, eats up the same amount of memory (500MB)
I do like that memo objects can be resized at runtime now (like the post input box)

Below is what I got Firefox 4 to look like. Basically, almost as good as 3.6. It's funny how tabs on top doesn't function any better than tabs on the bottom, and saves like 3 pixels. Stupidity. It's like they added that feature purely so it would be different than what it used to be.

I always use add-ons to bypass the ugly theme. It's way more customizable than any other browser, if you install the right add-ons.

yeah. I think it's better to move back to 3.x version, not much difference just the theme on different OS.
EDIT:
Checked FF for Vista and the style looks crap, pretty much like XP version of FF:

Firefox becomes more and more bloated with every new version.

anyone having issue with FF4 look can just customize it by right clicking empty tab space > customize. Then move around all the icons to desire. Mine uses the default theme but the buttons and all are layered out like 3.6.
