My friends cant place anything. They also can't destroy anything without using a tool. Any clue why? They're all running 1.4_01 as well as the server, and I'm using bukkit.

They don't have permission. Set the default group to allow build. Also remember that you can't build/break anything in the spawn. May also be lag.
All I can think of, if that's not it then I'm out of ideas.

Will check all that out.

I don't have a permissions plugin though. Can I find it in the .yml file?
