|
|
Reformatted my computer long ago and installed fresh copy of windows 7
but now my subtitles are not showing in windows media player when i play a movie
-I have the combined community codec pack installed
-The subtitles file (.srt) is the same name as the video file
-I've tried turning subtitles on in the options menu
Am i missing any plugin or codec?

Try MPC or vlc. I know my friend has some anime and it wont show subs on some players and others work fine, but then they work fine for me on the players that do not for him. Not sure what it is.

I've found that MPC, and K-Lite codec pack can play nearly every video type out there. If it doesn't play with these two tools, I really don't watch it.
