Intel® Core™ i7-2630QM Processor 2.0GHz (2.9GHz with Turbo Boost)
6MB L3 Cache
6GB DDR3 1333MHz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460M with 1.5GB GDDR5 discrete graphics card
I don't know Nvidia well so I dunno how great a 460 is when there's already a 500 series.
1.5gb ddr5 sounds splendid though.
So my question is will this rig run games well?
Like the latest games on max?

Processor Clock is way too low for gaming lol. I don't think you'll be having the thing on Turbo boost forever, right? If you want a bang for the buck you should just get a 560Ti or a 6870. 460 can still play games at max settings, just that you can get better for the same price or a bit higher. Wait, is this a laptop?

The specs he posted were for a laptop. I've steered away from laptops so I've forgotten some stuff. Let me know what your budget is and I should be able to find a good laptop for you.

Mobile parts are different from the desktop variants. The highest mobile Sandy Bridge Core i7 is the Core i7 2920XM Extreme Edition and that tops out at 2.5GHz.
The toshiba notebook you pick is actually quite good in terms of specs as that will be the most common since its the cheapest SNB mobile quad available.
Note that not all mobile Core i7 are automatically quad cores, some of them are dual cores.

My budget is $1500, I'd love a mobile desktop, but if that's not possible I'll just get a cheap laptop and powerful desktop.
