Cheat Engine

I have googled it a million times, searched this forum, and experimented with trial and error using cheat engine.
I have used "cheat finder" to hack Shadowflare variables and buff up my character and give him much gold, so I'm no stranger to this kind of program.
All I want to do is simple:
I have a favorite browser based online flash game, but the damned thing will not allow you save your game.
I figure if I start my browser, load up google chrome, go down the list of processes, start my game, go down the list again, and find the newly opened process, I can save all the variables and reload them at a later time.
Why?
Well for starters, I have lost hours of progress due to poor internet connections and power outages.
For another, I'm an obsessive save scummer.
I don't want to buff up my character, shower him with wealth, or kill every monster in the room.
I just want to save the #@^&*% game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
