Lets say I downloaded alot of mp3's from eminem,

1 song is called Loose yoursels - Eminem
Another song is called Mockingbird - E M I N E M

When i'm using my ipod touch and i'm looking for all songs by eminem, it wont show up both songs, I'm looking for a program which allows me to select multiple songs, and change the artist for all selected songs to a manually inputed name.

You could pound something out in C/C++ or C# that reads the embedded meta-data and renames the song based on that. This would assume the meta-data is correct. I think my manager was looking for something similar last week, he said he wrote one in about 10 minutes.

This may also do what you are looking for.
