I was wondering stuff about graphics cards since last week.
I have a couple of questions i want to ask about graphics cards and what graphics card would be suitable for my bother board.
-Do Graphics Cards have specific requirements?
-When i replace my integrated graphics with a dedicated, how can release the memory that the integrated used?
-What Graphics card is suitable for my motherboard? Looking for dedicated, 128 - 512mb.

- Specific port.
- Required power to keep the card running.
- Decent airflow in your case.
- Enough space to even fit the case.

The onboard chip wont use the memory as long as its not being used as the primary input. (And as long as you aren't dual-monitoring it up.) If you want to be 100% sure after setting up your new card, just disable the onboard chip in bios.

Card should be fine. Since your system seems a bit dated already, I wouldn't worry about going overboard as your vid card would land up being the least of your worries and limiting hardware.
Make sure to buy RAM that all matches, don't mix companies and such as you may run into issues.
As a personal preference as well, I'd avoid auction sites. _________________
