srry i'm a complete noob at building comps so i don't know what socket or Evan where mobo is

judging by that picture and the type of mobo and the type of caps on it and the middle says 2.5 v i am saying DDR 1 ram

is there a difference from ddr 1 and just ddr or ddr2

DDR 1 is DDR. DDR is different from DDR2 and DDR3. DDR2 is different from DDR3 and DDR. The easiest way for anyone to tell you what type of RAM it is would be to look for a model number on your motherboard.

Though what Saifallofjmr said holds truth. DDR RAM runs around 2.5V so I'd say it's safe to go with DDR RAM.

Me too. And also, another way to define whether the RAM is DDR, DDR2, or DDR3, the gap between the RAM are different:
