EAX EBX ECX EDX ESI EDI ESP EBP EIP MOV JMP CALL.
I know these are registers and instructions but i don't understand their meanings I wish the Cheat Engine Help file had a glossary to define this stuff. also is there a newer version of the cheat engine? I have version 5.2
my os is winXp Pro

The latest version is 6.0

There is an article about ASM in the helpfile in the Tutorials->ASM and hexing theory section. ASM Basics 1-3. You can find tons of info there.

If you are stuck with an instruction, just use Google and you will find some info about them. Your questions are answered in the CE help file so I suggest to read that for first and the rest of it if you still don't know something.

First thing first thanks for your info and help guys. However i think you are under the asumption i have a understanding of this stuff. But likewise on my part i thought someone here would know or have a great deal of understanding on this stuff.... Geri, this morning i looked all over for

I couldn't find it. It doesn't mean i won't keep looking, but i'm pressed for time.

Wiccaan, Just like in the games there are correct pointer, that is all i am asking for is that someone here can point me in to the right places, which i believe you and Geri have because i found some of what i needed answers on. I will keep digging deeper, Dark Byte if you have any answers i would gladly take them
