you can replace the pen.
the pen is not expensive. check the wacom store.

o wait, if it just got jammed you can remove the tip you know..
remove it and place it again.

nope, just pull it.
at least the intuos comes with many tips of different materials you can change.
even my genius one had that feature.

the tablet should have a tool for that in the box...
otherwise just use whatever you can..
