How do I cheat?

So my friend and I were having a completion on who can get the highest score on the facebook game word drop. Well I remember about cheat engine so I tried to hack it so i could beat his score. I couldn't get it to work in time, so I had to win the old fashion way. I was wonder how would I get it to work?

I'm new to this so I tried the basic ways of increased value search and exact value only to get me no where. I tried changing the value type and that didn't work. I got cheat engine to work for other games but not this one. Any suggestions?
