|
|
I own a HP DV6 3023ca.
On my computer, there seems to be 2 GPU's.
The ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 and
AMD M880G with ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250.
However, when I go to the ATI CCC, I dont see a crossfire tab.
What do?

You cannot enable CF as one is onboard and the other is discrete. However there is something called hybrid CF, but that's a bit complicated and its picky.

1. You will need a motherboard with a AMD chipset
2. The AMD chipset needs to support Hybrid CF
3.. You will need a discrete graphic cards that will talk with the onboard and most of them are low-ends.
As for your notebook I'm guessing, the discrete only kicks in when doing intensive stuffs.

Actually I checked on Catalyst Control Center.
It said my discrete GPU (5650M) is always on unless I turn it off or when i run off my battery and not AC.
