Looks like a really great deal to me.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=14-125-353
And if I get it today, it comes with this for free:

Should I?
Right now I have an integrated Radeon HD 4200 which is pretty terrible.
Also, I've never installed a video card, do I just pop it in plug-n-play style?

Yeah it actually means it's mac compatible, and I wanted a TV tuner anyways so this seems like a great deal.

THE ONLY PROBLEM IS THERE ARE NO DIMENSIONS GIVEN SO I DUNNO IF IT WILL FIT IN MY CASE.
I ALSO DON'T KNOW IF IT WORKS WITH MY MOBO.

if you have a regular sized looking tower it should fit fine. Its not like its a mini desktop right? Any normal sized looking tower will fit a gfx card, its a matter of wire management too.

Gygabyte is okay, go for it. Concerned about dimensions? Google, hello. One 6850 isn't bigger than another 6850. Think it won't work with your mobo? If it has a pci x16 2.0 slot, it will. Again, google. I would be more concerned about your power supply, see if it's up to the load. 500w would probably be safe.

Just plug your graphics card into the PCI-E slot, and download the latest drivers off the net. Don't bother with the ones that they give you in the box.

Ok, any way to find out what PSU I have without cracking open my case?
There's a warranty seal and I don't want to break it unless I have to.

You do realize you're going to have to open it to put the case inside in the first place, right?

Also, you can find out by looking up the specs of your computer model.
