I'm trying to run ROTT (Rise of the Triad) as it was a game I played in my childhood, but the command box comes up, a bunch of shit happens on it, and it closes.

How to fix? It doesn't even show an error.

Either set program to emulate Windows 98, or click Start goto Run type cmd, press Enter

type cd <directory where game is>/game.exe

Should work without emulator or setting compat mode, will keep the dos window open till you close it.
