Go to NYU to explore your bisexuality and being a DJ will come to you!

You would be surprised at how much everything costs. You should probably think a bit harder about it, hell you could get a decent drum kit guitar or half decent piano with that money.

Yes but i was reading up on how much they get paid.
a 4 hour gig at a club, they pay 450-500 and Professinals like
Benassi, ect get paid 50G's for a 2 day festival.
I'm hoping to get good and make a little bit of doh out of it

I think he is confusing a DJ Produce with a dance club spin jock.
If you just want to be a spin jock, you need to get in good with a club owner or two, easiest way is to hire out a hall or club for the night and host your own party, this will get you a little notariety and get you in the door at some clubs.
If you want to DJ Produce, Benassi, Tiesto, Norman Cook, then you have a lot further to go.
Either way, pick up a cheap set of decks and practice beat mixing. If you can't beat mix it's not worth your time.

But first you need to have some decent equipment (Costing over $1000) then you actually need to be good and finally you need to find the work.
