seems they are released for notebook, and these small devices.
they have some new and improved tech, that chip size is an inch and it have billions of transistors.
they said they desktop version will have much more extra power than notebooks and small devices as well as extra features, but they didnt mention the release date for desktop nor the price.
the problem goes here, that it might work perfectly with win10 and not other win versions (im not talking about win patches, im talking about built-in things) since win10 have huge support for intels 7th gen and 8th from assembly resources and references, and the way the OS work with HW (hardware)
so wondering if it will be possible to buy this little thingy and use it for my win7, also wondering if they came up with new instructions for this gen.
anyone have ideas? info's? comments? share whatever in ur head!

There are user made patches to make newer gen processors work with older OS's. For example, the newest 7th gens and up all try and enforce Windows 10 to be installed. (Windows itself attempts to block you from using older OS's with the newer processors.) Users have made patches to be applied to the OS to allow bypassing this setting.
For example, my new laptop has a Core i7-7700, which Microsoft attempts to restrict to Win10. Attempting to install Windows 8.1 or lower gives an error saying it is not supported.
Here is just one of the many user made patches for this:
