okay ever since this morning my computer has been a mess. it only lets you open 1 program, then if you try to open another program it does nothing. it doesnt appear.

Will need more information than that. It could either be a virus or your computer was low on resources and/or piss slow.

OR, you might have installed software applications that caused incompatibility issues. If this doesn't happened earlier and sure your PC works fine before, then might as well use System Restore. Cool
