The sound on my laptop speakers just drastically went down, but I can't seem to find the problem, I updated the drivers to the most recent.

Check the laptop, most have a Function key and volume controls on the keyboard. Make sure you didn't hit that by mistake.

I fixed it by restarting my computer...but like wtf.
