If they're shortcuts, then they aren't the files you put on there. You must have just dragged the shortcut instead of the actual file. _________________

Can't tell you how many times at work. People will call and say they sent someone a file via email but the person can't open it, when I ask them to send it to me they forward me a copy and they attached the damned short cut instead of the file. _________________

Have you checked what's in it before? You must've mistaken copying those files. If that's the case then you can still retrieve it . But if those files really did changed, then, there's something about your FD.
