I was playing Diablo Hellfire on my PC and was trying to find a trainer, but none would work. So, I got fed up and did it myself with Cheat Engine 5.5 to make 4 or so codes for gold, experience and character points. I wanted to save it, so I made a new folder called Game Tables in my Cheat Engine folder and saved the table as 'hellfire ct' (without quotes) . When I loaded it to play my game today all of the values were set as '??' (without quotes) and I could not edit any of my addresses' values. Please assist and reply, Thank You.

Probably You have just added simple values. And the game is using DMA. So the values have changed and they are not valid anymore. Use pointers or code injection. And if I may suggest, use CE 5.6.1.

If You find the pointer for the address, You don't need to do it every time. Or if You find the code which is accessing to the address. Try out the CE tutorial and You will see how to search for pointers or find codes.
