Usually when you burn songs to a cd
you get track 1, 2 , 3, etc

Is there anyway so you can actually see the name of the song?
Instead of Track 1-15

This is to be played in the car cd player btw

Any help is appreciated
Thanks in advance

What you are referring to is called "CD Text".
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CD-Text

Your CD player and burning software both need to support it in order for it to work properly. For burning software, Nero is a decent choice and does support CD-Text.

On that Wiki page is a list of a bunch of other software that supports it as well.

Well both my moms car and my car say Compact Disc Digital Audio on the CD player
but when you play a music station on her car you can see the text of the song that is playing
The only thing you can see on mine is the station number like 98.5, Even though my car has a multifunction audio system

Is there any full way to check if you cd player has cd-text

Before you burned your disc, you have to input the info yourself for each song, then your car audio system will be able to display it.

What do you mean input the info myself?

Wouldn't the name of the song file make it the title that it displays?

To do that, right click on a song and select properties, then click on the summary tab follow by Advanced

For Win7

Right click on song> properties, then click on the details tab

Those tabs are already filled out but when I burn it
it jus appears as 01, 02, 03 for display

Maybe my cd player doesn't support CD Text?

You can try Wiccaan's method, but if that does not work.
Does your car audio system support MP3 audio?

Open up Nero, select Audio CD project.
Add the songs you want.
Next right click on a song and click properties
Click on the Track information tab

Yes my car audio supports MP3 audio
but even if im playing a radio station it wont display the song name thats playing

I tried what you told me but I did it with Roxio
And it came up like this on my cd player
.....-...... (This is the level of volume) 1- 0:01 (timer for song playing

Before you burn it to disc, rename or edit the track for whatever title it is, same goes for MP3s. If it still doesn't work, then, your car audio may doesn't support CD text.

That didn't work
but why does my car audio show the text for bass, treb, mid, etc
It SHOULD support it

anyway I can be 100% sure

May i ask, have you done editing the title yourself? There might be something wrong about the way how you burnt it. If you're sure you did it right, try inserting it to another player. That way you can see if it will display tracks or titles.

Burn your disc with the songs directly into MP3, to do that just select the MP3 project or select it as data disc.

If you picked it right, you should be able to insert more than 50 songs into a standard 700MB CD.

Tremble, Bass, etc are settings, they're programed into the device, of course it will appear.
Look at the model of your system and check out what features it has.

Better idea, grab a original music CD and see if it displays the text

@Spikerock
Yes I have tried doing the editing my self but still nothing

I dont see the model of my audio sound system
but I took some pictures so you can get a better idea of what I am looking at

This first picture is of my car, and its playing a song

As you can see it only says the track number and the counter

Here is another one with a ORIGINAL CD

This last one is my moms car which actually displays the track name (This is for the original CD not the burnt cd because for some reason my moms car couldn't read it)

I am guessing my sound system doesn't support cd text?
It should though
