I want to create a debugger.
I have basics of all the popular language.(just basics)

What should be my next step.
I want to go ahead with c++ or asm.
but all books i have encountered with are either too basic or damn difficult. any book that takes me from moderate to advance.(i don't want to learn about programming basics for e.g class, pointer etc, i know it.)
I want to learn something practical.

Note: please do not recommend me to use google & msdn.

vb6 is out dated.

and better not learn it through .net

you can make debugger through it though.
but a layer of abstraction will be there concealing the inner details.

take any raw language as i am seeking.

I know you have no interest in MSDN but, you will need to use it. The debugging API for Windows is fully documented there:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms679303%28VS.85%29.aspx

If you want to do it in VB6, which you really shouldn't since the language is dead, there is an old article that covers it:
http://www.codeguru.com/vb/gen/vb_system/win32/article.php/c7525

Some other links:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/121093

http://codeguru.earthweb.com/cpp/v-s/debug/debuggers/article.php/c16451/Writing-a-basic-Windows-Debugger---Part-1.htm

Sorry Wiccaan
I forgot to mention. I am so novice that it takes me really long hours to understand anything of msdn.

Msdn is so quick that i do not match upto it.

I like slower and easy things like books. There must be books or else how come you learnt so much.

msdn is meant to be a reference. If you know the bases, you should be able to understand it. If you don't, you should learn them before getting into hard stuff.
