Ehhh, I wouldnt do that.

Why don't you just go to CT, and ask them? I guarantee they know better than anybody in RS.

Why shouldn't I get this computer CT? and what would be a better alternative. Price should only give or take about a hundred dollars.

At 17" I expect a 1920x1080 screen resolution not 1366x768.

You need sharpness not fatter pixels.
Also a 17" is like carrying a ton of bricks.

17'' monitors maximum resolution is 1280 x 1024. You can't do 1920 x 1080 on a 17 inch monitor.

You're talking about desktop monitors, OP is not looking for a 17" monitor. In a notebook a 17" can reach up to 1920x1080 while more expensive ones has options for 1920x1200.
