It's limited edition and the only reason they decided on a dual GPU is because of Eyefinity as I doubt you will able to run high-res games while driving 6 huge screens at the same time.

Speaking of ATi, the new HD6000 will feature Eyefinity 4 (non-eyefinity version cards can hook up to 4 monitors at the same time).

It's the same exact thing as an Asus Ares, except 512 bit. Dunno how much difference that makes.

The 512bit needs to be divided by the two GPU cores. Each GPU will only have a 256bit interface.

If each gpu have a 512bit interface it will have a 1024bit instead.

So it's exactly the same as the ares?

Ares only supports up to 3 monitors while that XFX can support up to 6 which is not important anyway.

The Asus Ares takes 2 8-pins and one 6-pin connectors, while the XFX 5970 only needs 2 8-pins for power.
