Iso is a cd image. Rom is the same but for a flash. Thats why ps2 games are iso and NDS game carts are roms.

Yeah, everything from a cartridge is a .rom, and everything from a disc is an .iso. Iso's are way, way bigger files.

The new 3ds roms will have 2gb capacity. Shit finally got bigger.

any other suggestion for resize it ? with out damaging any files

You can always compress the files then break it into several parts.

Or you could use a Binary Splitter.

Compressing a game, if a console, can only compress as much as the game actually has. So take the game bleach VS crusade. Iso is 4.6gb, game is 1.2gb. It will compress to 1.2gb. Same should apply to a pc game iso. as for breaking it, thats only helpful while moving it i guess.
