Hi im a newbie to game hacking. How do you change the memory address in such a way that when i for eg hit a miss note in my game, it is registered as hitting as a cool note?

not tested, just my suggestion:

search unknown
get a miss
pause the game
search changed
get a cool
pause
search changed

Ya i have found out the cool and miss address for the game. But what i need is to automatically switch the miss notes to cool notes everytime i play. is there a way to do it, like changing the pointers of miss notes to cool notes (sorry i have v vague idea about pointers)? Thanks!

Do a injection to a cave and replace the miss function with the cool function.
Then jump back.
This will result in having only the cool function, only way to know if it works is to try it out.

Show the instructions you found, If i see it ill give an example of what this will look like.
