According to the web, it says this game has a glitch which actually fries the video card.

I think they've released a temporary fix?

So it's safe to buy SC2 with the glitch being fixed? I might wait a few months before buying it for all the bugs/glitches to get out

that 'glitch' is not a glitch.
It's a bug in some videocards, just get yourself a videocard that is capable of NOT melting when it's being used at full capacity

if I could I would make CEF run 100% of the GPU just to fry those crappy cards myself

it's not a glitch, the framerate is uncapped by default so it just sits there eating cycles.

so really, all it fries are piles of shit that can't handle actually being used.

Yeah, it's a bug not a glitch.
Here is the temporary fix

fix wrote:
A temporary workaround is to go to your Documents\StarCraft II Beta\variables.txt file and add these lines:

frameratecapglue=30

frameratecap=60

You may replace these numbers if you want to.
