i was wondering if there was a way to set icons to subfolders upon autorun?
if i set them the regular way, they only work on my pc and not others(even tho icon files are on Ext HDD aswell).
i know i can change the main icon with the autorun.ini file but its only for the main one rite?its not very important but it wouldnt hurt to know if i can do it~

You can customize each folder to a specific icon upon autorun by setting it from a global assigned drive letter.
In other words if you want this to work, your ext. HDD must read the icons from the same drive letter it was set from.
If your ext. HDD is plugged into another system and that system assign a different drive letter, then it will not work.
On a DVD disc it's much easier than a ext. HDD

What if you set it from all globally assigned drive letters, or is it only possible to assign it on one drive letter at a time?
(Like plug in USB port 1 assign icon, plug in USB port 2, rinse, repeat)

When you plug in different USB ports of the same computer you will always get the same drive letter. It will only change if you plugged it to another computer.

What you need to do is manage a way to let your ext. HDD read the icons from the same path that it was created on your own computer. Once you achieve that, you should be able to see the changes you've made with all other computers.
