I would say minecraft, but you already play. Try playing through the halflife series. It's won over 100 awards, and has one of the best storylines ever IMO. HL2 was my favorite so far. After that, play portal. It has nice gameplay and a nice story for a puzzle game.

Phoenix Wright, all three games are incredible, the storyline is absolutely fantastic aswell.
