So, I have $627 and I'm saving for an Alienware m11x.
(I know, small screen and shit blah blah, but hdmi will work for me) But, I was wondering if, before I make the rest of the money and buy it, are there any better alternatives?
Bonus points for aesthetics, I love the Alienware's AlienFX.

Alienware is overprices imo cause i build my own systems, but do you need the hdmi port or just because it supports hdmi cause most everything does.
also for 1k you should buy a Desptop.

the MX11 is a good buy, just wait for a Dell coupon, don't bother upgrading to core2, bigger cache doesn't mean shit over the extra $100, upgrade hd, ram yourself.
only cheap portable solution that covers switchable graphic for less heat, and have a decent overclocking without increasing temperature at all.
Unless you count Macbook or whatever new laptop with Nvidia Optium tech.
