So the router just came to my house and I hooked it all up like normal, but the internet doesn't work. The CD it comes with is a bit.. weird? Sometimes it closes because it doesn't respond. Do I really need to install the CD it comes with? Shouldn't it work just fine by hooking it all up?

Hold down the reset button and see what you can do in the setup pages.
I remember working around this with a couple routers, but I can't remember exactly what I did.
