In pointer scanning there is an option "Pointers must end with specific offset"
I would like to suggest to add another option like "Pointers must start with specific offset" since most objects will share same based pointers and or offsets.

I'm currently scanning for 9 level pointer in which I know the first 6 pointers and/or offset thus the new option will saved time scanning for more levels.

Also a combination of both option is good since one may know the actual based and offset for start and last but not the middle part.

"Pointers must start with specific offset" will only save time very slightly, because it's not saving those results to disk, but it will find them, and then at the end discard

Perhaps a separate filter to make reading the results easier

You are right about that, Dark Byte. I believe that a separate filter would do the trick as you have pointed out.
