Alright... I've look at the forums... Gave the cheat engine tutorial a try
But for some reason I can't hack anything

I've done what the tutorial said and so on but for some reason
I always end up with no addresses to even look at...

I looked up youtube.. they gave me the same thing but it still doesn't work
is there a bug or something?? or am I missing something here??

I got a headache from looking at all these codes and stuff
Plz be kind when you reply or at least don't hate me from being a noob at this...

(Here's a little more details of what I'm trying to do)
With the tutorial it said it to put down the health onto the Value search bar
I do so.. then I click "hit me" then it tells me to put the new health into the bar and click "new scan" I do so and then it doesn't give me anything. I tried different bytes and all that but nothing I always end up with no addresses. I would take a screenshot but my head hurts and its 3:37 am here... (When something doesn't work I always try to make it work even if its takes months)

If You have done this as You have written, You have done it wrong.

1. Put health in the search bar and hit "First scan" or "New Scan" (depending on the fact if You have an already running scan).
2. Click on "Hit me" in the tutorial
3. Put new health value in the search bar and hit "Next scan" (not new scan as You have did).

Then repeat the process from the second to third step with "Next scan" option until You find the address.
If You always hit "New scan", You will not have any progress.

No. I don't think I have to run it as administrator... I believe.. I mean.. I never have to run a program as administrator since I'm using windows XP

And Geri I did what the tutorial said.. I put 100 health into the search bar and did "first scan" then I clicked "hit me" on the tutorial as it said to do
Then put the new health in and click "next scan" (Sorry I was half asleep so I couldn't see if I told the right details of what I was doing)

I do not know what could be wrong, but You may try to do this:

When You hit the first scan button, You should see about 60 results. Then click "hit me" in the tutorial, go back to CE and check if the address what You seek is amongst the first scans results "manually". I mean do not click on "next scan", just check out the found addresses and their new values. You should see an address amongst them which has the new value of health. Checking about 60 results' values takes less then a minute. If You see it, add it to Your table and try to scan for it after that.

It does worth a try.

EDIT: The value type is "4 bytes". Do not waste Your time to search for it as float or double, You will not find it that way. Use 4, 2 bytes or simply byte type in this step of the tutorial.
