Okay, so I'm bored and feel like posting this quick tutorial. I'll add pictures as i go along. I gotta re-install WinRAR first lmao.

Okay so you have WinRAR installed and every time you open something that's '.RAR'ed, You get this reminder to purchase winrar the full version or whatever. This is how you get rid of it.

1. Download Resource Hacker. 'ResHacker'

2. Open Resource Hacker, and then click, 'file' then click 'open'. Now browse to your WinRAR Program File folder, and open "WinRAR.exe". If you're using Vista, right click "ResHacker.exe" and run as Administrator.

3. In the list on the left, click the plus mark next to 'Dialog'. Scroll down til you find 'REMINDER' and click the plus next to it.

4. Now right click the resource 1049 or whatever, and click 'Delete resource'. Hit 'file' 'save' and you're done.

No more reminder. Mwahahahaha.

Good job very nice tutorial. You could also remove it using Ollydbg but preventing the dialog being called in a certain address (Nopping it).

lmao, nice.. i didn't know someone asked about it.

I do this every time i reinstall my Operating System. I use the shit out of my registries and programs and debugging, after a while, things stop working because of all the stuff i've installed. so i reinstall probably once every two years.
