Well i have had this monitor for a while now about a year its a great one for what i have used it for. Its 1280x1024 19 inch and i want a new maybe 21 or 22 inch monitor or if you have a better suggestion go for it. Doesn't have to be HD or anything fancy, though it can be if fit the budget which i doubt. budget 100-175 USD.
And for some odd reason if you need to know my specs they are in my signature.

Buy those Acer 23" 1920x1080 monitor at Staple for $150 after those magic coupon ($25 off 75, etc), since all TN panel are shit and your budget are clearly not high enough for IPS panel

Yes, I have this and it's excellent. Not 1920x1080, it's 1680x1050 which is PLENTY of room. Plus, it's 16:10, versus 1920x1080 which is 16:9.

Obviously (bigger numbers=bigger res), however I would still prefer 1680x1050 over 1920x1080 due to it being 16:10, while the 1920x1080 is 16:9. And I already mentioned how 1680x1050 is plenty of room.

Yeah, 30 pixels. But the way programs and (well-made) websites handle the resolution makes it so that you still have less displayed vertically on your screen.
If you're at 1920x1080, you still have to scroll more to get to the bottom of a (n, again, well made) website than a person who is on 1680x1050.
