hi guys =)
I really need your help )=
I went trough the intern tutorials from cheat engine, but the 7th (code injection) works only for the tutorial, and not in my game.
for example in the tut I scan for the hp adress and choose "find out what writes to this adress" and so on. In the end I get an code like:
dec [004567d43+eax]
this adress could be changed in:
inc [004567d43],99999...easily.
but in my real game I get this adress:
originalcode:
mov [esi],dx
pop esi
pop ebx
how do I have to change such an adress to make It work?
every time I tried to change It, my game is shutting down. )=
please help me guy's =)
and sorry for my bad english

Hi!
In this case only " mov [esi],dx " is of interest for you.
change it to something like:
mov [esi],#100
which means insert (dec) 100 into [esi]

Maybe you can see what DX contains by using "more information" button.
I am not sure, but DX is maybe not used for storing "values", it is used for storing registers. So if that is the case, you must find out what "address" DX is holding. And from there find out where to change your code.
Its feels like I am wrong person here, maybe someone here can explain it better.
