Question removing Boot option form Windows 7

I got
Windows 7 and a Windows XP installation boot.

I wanna delete that windows XP instalation boot from the selection so it boots windows 7 automatically.

any ideas on how to do it? I lost my win XP CD XP

msconfig > Boot > delete XP.

there is no XP in there.
its an installation start process boot, not the OS.

only thing in msconfig is my win7

Since no one here knows how to use windows 7, i'll help. Get easy bcd. Its a program to configure the boot files for windows 7. Windows 7 uses a boot loader. Windows xp only used a boot.ini, but on windows 7 you get a mess of files.

Its all about the boot manager.

I had that program, it only shows my windows 7 boot :/

Aww. When I used it on RC2 beta it showed them all. It actually let me switch them too.

He could not remove the option to boot it. XP was gone.

the option was not windows XP but the installation of Windows XP
I just left it half done and never bothered to remove it :P
