Top left tells you what rank they have in what crew/flag and what rank they have in the navy.
Reputation is basically how much you do certain stuff, not too important.
Houses is self explanatory, but blue means they own the house and pinkish means they live there as a room mate.
Hearties are like buddies, contact list.
Skills are the most important, it's laid out like this:

(Skill icon)Experience/Ranking
So say the icon is a sword and I'm solid/proficient.
That means I'm a solid swordfighter (very experienced), but I have a low rank, which means I've been losing lately in swordfights.

LAST BUT NOT LEAST, TROPHIES.
The pictures under the portrait are a preview of the trophies that person has, click them to see their entire trophy collection.
I have a lot and aquired them over a year or two.
