hi Dark Byte, i would glad if you can do something or know something about this problem i encounter regarding the new c.e. version. I play private cabal servers and your c.e. has been sooo helpful to me "big thanks" ..i used 5.5 before on various cabal P.servers and it works just fine until the server upgraded into episode 3 of cabal, upon opening c.e. the game automatically closes even though there is no X trap of GameGuard. I installed your 5.6 version and YES!! the game didn't close when i open c.e. but on selecting cabal on the process list i encounter this error msg. >>>> error while opening process ...what thus that mean? what will I do?> is there any other ways on how i can get cabal to run on the process list and be able to inject c.e. speedhack? thanks in advance and hope to hear from you.. _PEACE_

the debug port is probably occupied by the game , but thats just a guess. try it with an older version of ce and see if its that.

@itapa i dont have zone alarm
@rooski old versions just closes the game upon opening c.e.

i saw this one and it kinda helped forum.cheatengine.org/viewtopic.php?p=4780404&sid=3495b180cebbab0720b2b70680cf39f5 i was able to open the game on the process list but when i click on enable speed hack ..another error pops up "Failure enabling speedhack. (DLL injection failed) ..any ideas how to fix the next problem Dark Byte? thanks

Not sure what the part was that helped half, kernelmode openprocess or AV

anyhow, just to post it again:
go to settings->extra and enable kernelmode read/write processmemory

And if it doesn't work, uninstall your anti virus and reboot (just disabling doesn't always work)

kernel openprocess helped. and i don't have a.v. installed. still can't inject speedhack and can't even freeze any address for the game. any more ideas? thanks

This does mean that the game is running some kind of protection

KernelMode Read/Write processmemory doesn't work for editing/freezing ?

yes, kinda... using kernel/ open /write process i did select the game on process but the error opens up when i click enable speedhack saying "cant inject speedhack .dll something... T_T
soo..i tried entering an address but i cannot freeze any address i enter. -please help

my friend can open the game without trying to enable the kernel open/write process and he can click enable speedhack..the only problem is he doesn't know the address to put to enable the speed to rise.
