I don't know if I want a Laptop or a Netbook, it doesn't really matter really, I just want a small laptop/netbook (Easily carryable in a bag or something) with a decent battery. The specifics don't really matter, but might require to play a game like MapleStory.

600 bucks? You could buy a netbook, it would run games like Moople and wc3 and such.

As long as it has a decent battery life and can run ms, I'm happy.

Asus Eee PC, you'll get at most 10 hours of battery life.

You don't need ION to play moople on a netbook. Get the cheapest N270 you can find (with at least 1024x600 resolution).

For that you can get yourself a Core 2 CULV based notebook or a netbook with a Atom dual core w/Nvidia ION2 + integrated graphics a la "Optimus" technology.

That custom list is full of horse shit.
Where is my N450 or dual core 330?
How about a 7200, SSD, touch screen (1366x768)
HDMI, and so forth.
And at $519 for a crappy integrated graphics, OP can look else where.

For one, velocity micro is a pile of shit to make you pay a fuckload of money. And secondly, hardly anyone builds laptops, much less netbooks. Do you know how hard it is to fit shit in those cases?

Define your term as to what is "decent battery life"?
Netbook manufactures claim some of their model can last up to 9 hours on a single charge (HP claim one of their notebook can last up to 24 hours on a single charge).
How are these battery measured and what has to be done in order to get that magical number of "9 hours"?
Do they (vice versa)
1. Set the screen brightness down to the lowest where you can't see shit?
2. Disconnect the internet and turn off the wireless switch since these guys sips of battery juice
3. Set power management to the max. power saving?
4. Let it sit idle until the battery dies out after "9 hours" and then boast it on their site Up to 9 hours of battery life and if you don't buy this, then your fuckin stupid!
Your be giggling and rolling on the floor, if your netbook can last up to 4-5 hours.
