why is it still an i7? Shouldn't this be the i9 people wont shut up about?

I believe it was rumored to be the i9.
I too thought it was the i9 until recently.
Personally, I wish there was the i5's as average users, i7's for gamers, and a new i9 series specifically 6 cores for hard core gamers/overclockers.
