Well, where should I start...

After replacing my retarded CPU fan, I also happen to find a MUCH LARGER hard drive than my current one (about 3 times as big), and decided to use it as a secondary hard drive, as I do not want to erase data or whatever. Well, my problem is that when it's plugged in (SATA port), it's not detected. Now, it's been a while since I've fondled with the inside of my computer, excluding the CPU fan replacement (a tard could do it, like me OMFG YA!) and the occasional cleanings, let alone even adding new parts. Here's the problems.

1. I have no damn manual
2. I can't find drivers (I did find the required SATA drivers, however)
3. It's not detected (as stated).

So, I'd just like some help on installing this sonofabitch. I heard it was easy to install, but unfortunately for me, I have no manual nor any 3rd party references (Google isn't doing shit but giving me reviews on it............... NOT HELPING). It's in the HD slot, plugged in to the SATA port, and spinning (makes a cool noise when the computer plugs in, so I KNOW it is working, just not detected), so I know it should work fine with some help...that is being able to store data on it. If you need any more info on the HD, let me know.

Master/slave is only on IDE.

Check the BIOS to see if it's detected. Also try a different SATA port.

You just plug it in. Thats it. Then install an OS because it obviously will say disk boot error if you dont.

Don't they normally come formatted FAT32 or NTFS?
Check whether it's detected in BIOS. Is it the only HDD plugged in? My motherboard has two SATA slots for its RAID controller, you need to plug in secondary drives in one of the six other slots.

The BIOS does not detected, therefore I cannot format it. It's previously had a windows installation on it, so of course it won't need to be formatted.

I've tested it by itself. It still isn't detected.

I have jumper plugs, but none are used.
