Well I usually use UBCD4Win as a rescue CD but you need to regularly update it and burn it again so it becomes a hassle.
I just made a Kaspersky Rescue Disk and booted with it using VMWare Workstation (Windows XP 32-bit).
Everything is fine expect for the fact that the cursor isn't accurate.
I go over to the 'start' button to click it and start the scan but when I click I'm actually clicking to the right of the start button even though the cursor is over it.
Is it a problem with VMWare or is this a problem that others experience on their host PCs?
Btw I'm not infected I simply wanted to test it. |

That'd be a problem with VMWare. Doubt there's a "guest additions"-like thing for a KIS recovery disk. You could try VirtualBox or just don't worry about it. |
