I would like to know if it is possible to get a quiet fan for my laptop.

I have a hp pavillion dv5 if that is of any help.

Most laptop fans are dead silent, unless it's almost busted.
Clean out the dust that's probably stuck between the heatsink and exhaust.

If not, then just order one from HP and they'll ship it right to you.

Yes you can. You can find the fans everywhere. Just google the laptop name and "fan". Chances are people sell them on amazon or eBay.
