Cheat Engine

I am not sure if this is done intentionally, but for some reason, I can't seem to get any mouse clicking automated on top of the Cheat Engine window.

I can MouseMove the cursor to where I want to click (e.g. "First Scan"). But no matter how many time the application try to click the location, it doesn't work. At first I thought that it might just be a bug in the macro application, but I've tried two (MacroSheduler and AutoIt), and tried manually coding script, and mouse recording but nothing work (even though it's fine when I click the button myself during the recording). I am rather puzzled, would anyone happen to know why this is happening?

I've also tried setting a hotkey under Cheat Engine and get the macro application to call it, but that doesn't work either.
